SARAH BISHOP by Scott O’Dell is about fifteen-year-old Sarah Bishop who lived during the Revolutionary War. Her father is killed by patriots, and her brother dies in the war. The patriots come after her, but she escapes to a cave in the woods. There she tries to make it on her own. A ferryman takes pity on her and gives her a musket and promises to not tell the British were she is hiding. She eventually takes care of a white bat who took up residence in her cave. She also finds a muskrat caught in a trap, saves it and cares for it as well. She suffers many trials and tribulations, but never gives up as she tries to make it on her own.
SARAH BISHOP is a powerful story about a young woman who fights the odds to stay alive. Sarah tugs at your heartstrings as you fight with her while she struggles to survive and feel her pain and suffering. Sarah never gives up even as trouble creeps along her way; she uses her smarts to carry on. It is rare to see such an empowering female character and Sarah Bishop is the embodiment of what should be a heroine for women everywhere.
SARAH BISHOP is a must read for high school students. It has some great details about the Revolutionary War and shows how devastating the consequences of war can be. This historical fiction book tells a great story that all could enjoy, but it also contains interesting pieces of history. SARAH BISHOP can give people an idea of what life was like during the American Revolution. This historical fiction book will be an enjoyable read for students as they learn about the American Revolution.

Josephine by Beverly Jenkins was about very young women, who had a dream; her dream was too own her own hair dressing shop and too live her life. Josephine lived with her mother, her brother Daniel and father were people fighting in the Civil War. Josephine’s best friend was named Trudy who was about to be married to a man named Bert. Josephine didn’t want to be married she wanted to live her dream and become someone. Josephine friends and neighbors were very kindhearted people who took care of wounded solders during this period of the Civil War. Events in this book are the very important are that Josephine has to help her mother because her family is fighting and she wanted to help the solders. This novel also shows that even soldiers use people, for example Trudy was robbed by one of the solider and was very hurt and when this even happened, Josephine had too figure out if she wanted to be with a solider named George or a man named Adam. Josephine had to figure out the truth and had too figured out whom to be with.
I believe that Josephine by Beverly Jenkins is a book about a strong woman who during a very hard period has to figure out what to do and who to choice. She goes through some hard times and worries about her family and friends but comes to release she can do anything and can past any obstacles. I think that this is a great book it shows us how much pain and suffering was happening during this time and how much a person can overcome when there is so much pain and suffering going on during this period. Josephine is very strong and can do or reach anything when she puts her all into it.
Josephine by Beverly Jenkins is a good history story too shows the problems many people had to face during the Civil War period. This novel tells us that we had many problems back in the wartime too and its tells us that we have to face other situations besides the ones our country is dealing with. Josephine gives us and shows us we can overcome everything if we try and if we are able to put are all into it we can do anything and overcome everything.

The movie THE DEERSLAYER directed by Richard Friedenberg is based on the classic novel by James Fenimore Cooper. Hawkeye and Chingachgook must save the beautiful Mohican princess from the Hurons before the new moon or else there will be bloodshed. Along the way they meet Lieutenant Plowden who joins in there quest. A man, his two daughters and their friend also joins together with them to fight the Hurons. THE DEERSLAYER is full of action and adventure as it takes you on a journey filled with “bravery, loyalty and wilderness justice.”
This wonderful film keeps you entertained throughout the entire movie. Each character brings something different to the plate. Lieutenant Plowden, played by Brian Davies, is the comic relief and his antics will crack you up as he tries to find his way through the forest. Victor Mohica delivers a chilling performance as the villain Huron Chief Rivenoak. The two leads, played by Steve Forrest and Ned Romero, are a great team and you will be rooting for them till the end. There friendship feels real and you know they will do anything for one another. Young and old alike will enjoy the beautiful scenery and intense fight scenes.
THE DEERSLAYER may be a little outdated for some, but it captures the French-Indian War brilliantly. Students could also discuss the few inconsistencies in the film and even relate it to how movies look now and if the film were to be remade, who should play the characters, what should be done differently, etc. This is a fun filled historical film that I feel would benefit the classroom.

The book “War of 1812” was very interesting and had a lot of good information in it. It tells about what president Madison, his wife, and many Americans went through and how they lived. There we’re many disputes and disagreements which pretty much always led to war, death, and violence. There we’re many losses and a lot of reconstruction done. In the end there wasn’t even a real winner.
In my opinion this book was actually pretty good. Even in the lengthy introduction there is interesting information that will definitely catch your attention. The information in the book can teach you pretty much everything you need to know about the war of 1812. There are many interesting facts also. For example did you know the war of 1812 happened between the revolutionary and civil war. Most say it wasn’t really a war, more of a mistake. Others say that it should be named the independence war. Overall this book will give you plenty more interesting facts that you probably didn’t know and may not find in most history text books.
I would definitely recommend this book to all 7th,8th,and 9th grade classes. It will catch their attention and really teach them all they need to know. This book is very exciting and is well detailed so people will be able to visualize the setting and even themselves in it. Also it will teach students all they need to know about president Madison and British leaders like General Ross and others.

THE HORSE SOLIDERS is a movie on the acts of the Civil War, directed by John Ford. This movie had a lot of drama and suspense. The movie was based around the battles in Baton Rouge. These battles were fought and didn’t have a good ending to them. This movie main character was generals they had to figure out which plans too make. On there journey they found a young lady named Miss Hunter who didn’t like the Yankees and she didn’t know that the men that showed up at her out were Yankees and that they were going to stay at her house now matter what she said. But instead she was listening to there conversation so she was token in a prisoner and she couldn’t do anything about it. Once she was captive they had two major battles and after that they lost many men and had to overcome many plans too survive but in the end they lost many men and let Miss Hunter go and she went on with her life and the Yankees didn’t bug her again.
I believe that this movie is very good and it shows how much our union had to overcome from then too now. This movie explains how men sit there and have to face so much and there is nothing they cant do and they cant run away from this actions but only thing they can do is face them. This movie explains that people can always fix things and we always have a plan but sometimes a plan turns into a fight where we loose our life and there is nothing to change what has happened. This wasn’t a good movie it didn’t explain too us who won and how. This movie is mainly explaing the little details about the war and how they have to plan and do their action.
I don’t believe any high school student should watch this because it has not many god details on the war and only shows little details on this movie. This movie is not god on war and government information which you use and need more information too have equal facts and you need to show more and explain more about the important people and places were this these events happened.

The book SARNY written by Gary Plausen is a wonderful book; it took place during the revolutionary war. The main character Sarny was intelligent, kind and caring for most black during that time but had a tragic turn of event that took place in her life. One day when her slave master took her kids into town that is when her live change. For when her master returns from the city she learns that her kid were sold. At that time in the novel Sarny looses her hope. Then after soldiers from the north come to the plantation and kill Sarny slave master they tell Sarny she is free and that she may leave. Hearing that she goes after her children. After she is free it changes her life forever.

My opinion towards the novel is that this novel is a great book and many people should read this book. This book gives a lot of details and information that gives great description towards the characters. Each of the characters is unique to the story in every way.
I think this book should get five stars.

It should be used in school because it talks about the struggles a slaves had back then during the revolutionary war. This book shows how a slave had to deal with getting her kid taking from her and getting sold. Which more people could learn how slave had to deal with the pain of their kid getting taking away. It also shows that not all slaves are cruel to whites, which it shows that in the story.

THE SHADOW RIDERS by Louis Camour
The movie is about the end of The Civil War. After the war the 3 brothers who were in the war came back to their hometown, only to find out that all of the women are gone. They soon find out that a general from the south had taken them. Then the colonel wants to buy the women to sell them into slavery in, Mexico. When the general sold the women only on of them escaped. Now with the information of where the other women have gone, she finds the 3 heroes and together they go one to retrieve with the help of their uncle Jack, a ruthless criminal with a sheriff on his back trying to get him. In the end the heroes got back the women and the colonel jailed.
I think this is a good movie to watch. It can really show you what time period it is in. it can really show other problems America has.
This is use full to watch because it shows everyone how the old Americans were and the negative effects after the war.

The Killer Angels is a book about a famous Battle of Gettysburg in the U.S. Civil War, but through the words of the main characters. This battle starts off with the South or known as the Confederacy winning. The Union finally wins a good battle. This was the start of the Civil War.
I feel that this 1974 movie was very moving while it took you through this violent, sad and exciting book. This book put you in these men’s shoes throughout the book and it makes you feel as if you were there.
It is a good book to present to your class while your talking about the U.S. Civil War. Also if your talking about a good battle but it doesn’t just show a battle it shows you how they(the main characters) were feeling throughout the Battle of Gettysburg

The book I read was titled BEYOND THE MISSISSIPPI. The book was basically a behind the scenes look at the Louisiana Purchase. It tells the story of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. This book was written by Angela M. Herb. One Fact that I in this book was that, William Clark’s true position on the expedition was second lieutenant. But Lewis treated him as though they were equal.
In my opinion I really liked this book I liked the book. I liked the book mostly because it shows stuff that most people didn’t know. For example they planned to start the expedition a month before the Louisiana Purchase was officially made. But there was only one part of the book that I didn’t like and that was because it was really long (120 pages).
This book connects to U.S. history very well. It connects very well because it teaches about the Louisiana Purchase, westward expansion, Manifest destiny etc.

York’s Adventures With Lewis And Clark By James J. Holmberg

This book was a story about man named York. He was a slave of Lewis when he was 12. His master Lewis was 14 at the time and was a very spiteful child to York. Many years he became a traveler and took York with him. Later through they were exploring the Great Expedition. And York got no credit until this book. In my view this book was a good source of information about the GE and an African American’s part in it. It also a good source if you’re trying to see the treatment of Native Americans in the westward expansion. I would recommend this book for research on the GE and westward expansion or anything during the 1850’s.

The Killer Angels by: Michael Shaara

The Killer Angels It takes place in the 1800s its about the confederate army and the union army are fighting over land. There was a spy and the General of the confederate army trusted him. His name was general Long Street he was a good general. The spy is getting paid from both leaders and he tells the general when the union is going to take over and whenever they’re supposed to be around. It is a very bad war going on. A lot of injured people are dieing in the war.
I did not like this book because of the language it was hard to read and the way they talked was kind of confusing to read. I think if the author had changed how the dialect was it would be a little easier to read and understand what is going on.
I would recommend this to any US history class. This book would help someone who doesn’t know a lot about the civil war. This story would give them another point of view of what it was about. I think it helped me be able to understand how each leader felt about what each believed in. The Confederate Army and The Union Army were at each other’s necks during the Civil war.

Extraordinary African Americans By: Susan Altman

The Extraordinary African Americans was about the history of African Americans. This book included the important things African Americans achieved. The
book had famous African Americans who help our country.

I like this book because it has famous African Americans who helped blacks get their freedom. This book had important events that African Americans were in. It tells you about Reconstruction and what happened after. The most famous abolitionists were talked about in this book. This book gives important facts about what happened to African Americans during slavery. The important.

I would recommend this to a US History class because it tells important facts about history. Someone who likes history would enjoy this book. This can help a teacher with new info about African Americans.

The color purple
By Alice Walker

The color was written by Alice Walker and turned in to a movie. The book was based on an African American
Poor family who had lots of problems. The main characters were Silly, Anna may, and Harpo. The family was an older man (harpo) who had two younger women (silly and Anna may) who would have sex with him, clean his home fix his dinner, and have lots of kids with him.
One thing I liked about the story was that it was about segregation. When they split up the family and silly and Anna may reunite. The second thing I liked about the book was that it really interesting. The story has a little of every thing like comedy, drama, and thriller. One thing I don’t like about the story was that it would skip from one time period to another. The second thing that I dislike about the book was that it was mostly based on three people. There weren’t a lot of characters.
Exposition
The beginning of the story started off with harpo yelling at silly and kicked her out of his house and Anna may and silly was trying to fight to keep them together.
Rising action
The rising action was Anna may was lonely, she didn’t have any one to talk to or play with she was all by her self. Harpo tried to rape her because they weren’t having sex. Anna may try to run away but she didn’t have anywhere to go so she stayed. As Anna may get older the more she started to dislike her. Harpo was being more strict and bossy towards her.
Climax
Anna may and harpo has friends over from out town and Anna may tries to kill harpo because he was trying to talk about her and she didn’t like what he was saying but she stopped. She was tired of him beaten and abusing her.
Failing action
The friends get ready to go back to Chicago and Anna may decides to go with them but harpo don’t want her to go because he’s going to be lonely and have all the kids. Anna may get a job with a white lady and work for her. She throws dirt in a white man face and goes to jail.
Resolution
Anna may get out of jail a work for the white lady. She goes into the store for the lady and runs into silly and she invites her to her house. When she gets to the house it her family and kids that she haven’t seen in over 10years.
This book is a good book or movie for U.S history because it’s about segregation between whites and blacks. The color purple is a history-based story on blacks on how they lived and delt with whites and to survive.

This book was called A PICTURE OF FREEDOM. The year is 1859. Clotee has lived all twelve years of her life as a slave on the Belmont Plantation in Virginia. Although she has known no life other than that of a slave, she has secretly learned how to read and write, and that ability gives her a glimpse of the world out there. To practice, she keeps a secret diary that she hides in a hollowed-out tree. An orphan most of her life, Clotee has managed to make the best of her circumstances, and writing is one of the few things that brings her any joy. When a tutor comes to the plantation to teach the master's young son, Clotee figures that he'll just be another prejudiced southerner. But he's an abolitionist that further expands Clotee's horizons, and he may be able to give her the one thing she longs for: freedom.

To me this was a great book about a girl wanting and longing for freedom. Some people can make a connection to this book because we all have secrets that we want to tell people but can’t. The book was a great read because it was an easy read and the author made it as her diary.

This book would apply to a class because it has to do with the civil war. And it’s nothing nasty of disrespectful in it. Its just the same civil war that we haven learning about. So yes this would be a good read for any class and any grade.

Crossing Over Jordan Linda Beatrice Brown

In the book crossing over Jordan the story takes place back
Into the days of the 1800’s into the 2000’s where it started out back in
1800’s with the slavery of African women in the U.S. But in reality
this story it is a mother and daughter situation.

I think this book is a great book for anyone who wants
To know about a fictional story about a black mother
and daughter that were slaves, living down south.
Though this story shows how emotions between
Mother and daughter can chaotic which puts the mother
And daughter in tragic situation against the circle of
Life.

I think the book Crossing Over Jordan is not a book to
Discuss in a history class therefore it does not contribute
To any part of history except the fact of bringing up the fact
About black women whom were slaves living back in the
1800’s having work themselves hard everyday.

Two things I liked about the book is that it was talking about a disease that was killing a lot of people because of how dirty the town was another thing I liked about the book is that when they heard about it they where trying to keep the kids in the house.
Two things that I disliked about the book is that all the kids had to stay inside but the kids did not like it another thing I did not like about the book is that all they where talking about the same thing and it was stupid.
I think that this book won’t be good for history because it makes no sense at all. My conclusion about the book is that I liked it a little but it was stupid I hated it.

GOLD RUSH WOMEN by: Clair Rudolf & Jane G. Haigh
Between the 1880s and early 1900s women traveled Alaska during gold rushes. The gold rush was when thousands of people went to California to find gold to get money.
I did not like the book. To me the book was very boring. I don’t understand what is so amusing about women looking for gold. Why couldn’t you just name the book gold rush or men gold rush. What is so important about women doing something? Every time a woman does something they got to make a big thing about it. To me the whole idea of this book is stupid.
I would not recommend this book to a history class. The gold rush is interesting but maybe about men and women not just women.

imane jackson said...

Imane Jackson 3/30/10 Two things I liked about this movie were that the setting was like an 1800’s theme. Another thing I liked was that it had to do with suffrage in a way. Two things I disliked about the movie were I don’t like that the teenage girl got rapped by her father. I also didn’t like that she got treated like a slave even though her husband that brought her was an African American. My opinion on this movie is that it is a good movie to watch for us history about woman’s suffrage but it doesn’t teach you about much in economic problems and war problems that were going on in the 1800’s. Another thing about the book was that it showed a lot of things that happened in the 1800’s for example, it was okay to sell your children to an older man to clean, cook, and take care of there children. I honestly do think that this book is good for us history class because it shows a lot of what women had to go through in the early 1800’s. It also, showed how much a lot of laws that are passed now that weren’t now for women back then. And it also shows how much of the things that we as women think are wrong now weren’t really bad back then. Another reason why I think that this book would be good for us history is because the women being sold back then was like the slaves. And that’s something that was taught when we were learning about history. Finally, is when In the movie the woman stood up to the man who brought her because she was sick of him treating her like dirt and telling her that she was dumb and that she was never going to amount to nothing. That represented the suffrage when women got sick and tired of men saying what they can’t do certain stuff so they stood up to the men.

THE COLOR PURPLE is about a young African American woman named Celie. This movie takes place in America’s rural south. Celie’s children were taken away from her sister Sophia. Celie and her sister Sophia had separated for a long period of time. Celie’s kids and Sophia came back to where Celie lived and Celie was so happy to see her sister and her kids. This movie is set in the 1930s in the Southern United States. This movie was told in a form of diary entries and letters.
I think this movie was very interesting. I enjoyed every part of the movie because it really attracted my attention. I like the movie because it showed me how some blacks were treated back then and how they got through it. I also like this movie because even though Celie went through a lot as a little kid while she was growing up, she was doing what she had to do and made it through and didn’t fall apart or didn’t give up.
I think this is a good movie to use in US history class. It is a great opportunity to see how African American’s were treated and what they had to go through as they grew up in the 1930s. This movie helped me understand the time period because now I know African Americans were treated very badly and how they had to do as they were told. This movie also helps me understand that during the time period, African American’s had it rough. Some blacks where poor and was sleeping on the streets and had no family. During the 1930s, life for African Americans was terrible. African Americans had to find ways to feed their children because most of them didn’t have jobs. This movie helps me understand how they got through it.

The movie I watched was THE WILD WILD WEST. It was about a Negro sheriff (Will Smith) and a crackpot scientist (Kevin Kline), who cross paths and end up having to work together to save the president and the whole country from the former general of the confederacy (Kenneth Branagh). In the end they won.
Personally I think the movie was great. The casting director did a great job by casting Will Smith as James West. The plot was great and easy to understand. My favorite part of the movie was when he created the giant robotic spider. I’d be willing to watch it again by choice.
The WILD WILD WEST connects US history because of the time period. The movie is based in the Reconstruction Period after the Civil War. This movie is also based during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad. The Transcontinental Railroad was a major way of transportation during that time period which is why it connected to the movie.

RED BADGE OF COURAGE is a short novel about a young boy named Henry Fleming who goes off to war. He is recruited by the Union, the North, and goes off to war leaving behind his mother. Soon after he enters battles he realizes how horrible war really is. Death seems to surround him and he may not escape it. To find out if he can survive the horrors of war read the RED BADGE OF COURAGE.
I found this book to be very depressing and have many emotional moments. Henry goes through traumatic emotional changes. He came very close to death on several occasions. This is not a book for those who feel peace is the only answer to problems. I would give this book a three out of a five star rating.
RED BADGE OF COURAGE is a short tale of a boy who joins the Union. This non-fiction novel is a good read for high school students because it teaches about the Civil War. This novel helps readers visualize what the Civil War was like. It also exposes readers to the horrors of war. RED BADGE OF COURAGE is a good read and helps students understand the times during the Civil War.

POCAHONTAS directed by Mike Gabriel and Eric Goldberg is based off of the real life Indian, Pocahontas. A young Indian girl comes across white men who are searching for new land. John Smith is a white man who tried his best to keep Pocahontas safe and a secret from the other men. Soon tall the Indians are discovered and are befriended by the white men. Eventually things turn sour and Pocahontas is unsure what to do.
The movie was enjoyable and a good family movie. Yet the actual tale of Pocahontas was much different and more relative to the relationship of Indians and Americans. This movie was watered downed in the sense that it was made into a family movie and didn’t show the true aspect of the story. Overall, this was a highly enjoyable movie but, it could’ve been more realistic. I would rate this movie four out of a five star rating.
POCAHONTAS was a good watch and connected to the discovery of North America. This movie showed how white men had learned from the Indians. High school students can use this movie as a way of understanding the early relationship between whites and Indians. POCAHONTAS also makes a good reference for this connection. Although it could have been a more realistic movie.

This book is about a little girl and she lives with her family and she is poor.
And the book is from back and the day and they don’t have things easy. Like we do now and days. She wears fancy dresses like the mothers she had a younger brother and they were always together.

I think this book is a great book and I would read it all over.

This book applies to us history by The things that go on in this book and the clothes they wear.

THE COLOR PURPLE a movie based on a true story.Young Celie also known as Whoppi Goldberg, faces many challenges in her life time. She was sold to a man.Later after she moved in he married her. She took care of him and his children. Celie later found out that she really was there to replace his true love, Shug Avery.Shug was a blues singer.
My opion on this movie,I think this is life changing I think this way because the way people take life for granted. If they were slaves and sold to somebody they didnt even know they would hope and pray for a new and better life. THE COLOR PURPLE reprsents how young African American females were treated.
THE COLOR PURPLE relates to history. It is just like slavery.Slavery was a big issue back then.It changed the world and it led the united states to war. The World War 1, the South aganist the North. After time eventually the North won.

NATIONAL TREASURE
A Jerry Buckhiemer production & A Jon Turteltaub film
It’s the thrilling, edge of your seat adventure starring Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage star as Benjamin Franklin Gates. Ever since he was a boy, Gates has been obsessed with finding the legendary Knights Templar Treasure, the greatest fortune known to man. As Gates get older and tries to find and decipher ancient riddles that will lead him to the treasures, he’s dogged by ruthless enemy who he use to work with who wants the riches for himself. Now in the race against time Gates and the others must steal one of America’s most sacred and guarded documents -The Declaration of Independence - or let it, and a key clue to the mystery, fall into the dangerous hands. Heart¬-pounding chases, close calls FBI turn Gates into a high-stakes crime caper. Soon to figure out the mystery, he finds the treasures and he has reached his goal.
This Movie was interesting, I really liked it. It had a lot of Action in it and some of the stuff in the movie was real. It also had very good actors in it for example Nicolas cage or Sean Bean. They are two very great actors. Nicolas Cage has been in many movies for example the movie Next. Sean Bean has been in many movies, but is more known for the TV show series LOST. However, half of the stuff in this movie was unreal for example, the encryption on the back of The Declaration of Independence was not real and the founding fathers never made clues to any treasures. The glasses to look at the encryption on the back of The Declaration of Independence were not real either. Overall, I think this movie was a great movie.
I used the movie NATIONAL TREASURE because this was about The Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence was in the time period of the 1700’s to 1800’s. It was one of the most important events in the history of the U.S. It was the day the five men Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Robert R. Livingston and Roger Sherman signed their freedom from Great Britain.

Eleven year Old Summer and her older brother, Rosco, each have a “silent thunder,” a desire that rumbles deep within each of them, refusing to be ignored. Summer longs to learn letters, while Rosco is burning to fight for his country and his freedom. But Rosco and Summer are slaves on Parnell’s Plantation in the year 1862, and or slaves, these desires are illegal and dangerous. But despite the danger and their mama’s terrible fear of being sold off or worse, Summer and Rosco are determined to fulfill their dream. But in the end the slaves get their freedom from the Emancipation proclamation.
This Book was ok. It didn’t have enough action for me. People want a book with action. This book was boring to me because it had no action, it was too long, and didn’t really have enough emotions in it. This is a slavery book; this should have lots and lots of emotions in it. But this book wasn’t all bad. I liked that the book was about kids in slavery, and not just adults. This book talks about how kids had it during slavery times. It also shows that kids during slavery did everything they could to get what they want.
I used this book because this books setting s was in the slavery times in 1862. This book is a civil war story, the civil war was a time of when the North and South fought over slavery. This was a very important time in the U.S. history, and is remembered for ever and is remembered for when slaves became free.

“National Treasure” was a very exciting and ‘keep you on edge’ type of
movie. There we’re tons of exciting chases and even times where people we’re
captured and you’d be like “aw man!”. Also there are moments where you think
they’ve finally succeeded but there’s always just one more thing. In the movie there
are times where you might wonder what they are doing but it all makes sense later.
There are betrayals, love, pain, and a little sacrifice that all make this movie definitely
worth while.
Overall this movie was very enjoyable and full of important history information that
can be very helpful on tests. You may think well if it’s about history of course it’s going
to be boring. Wrong! It may be about history but it has been formed into a dramatic
action filled thrill ride. Not only action but a little bit of comedy to, you’ll even be afraid
for the characters sometimes. It’s a great movie overall and I would definitely love to
watch it again.
This movie would be a great source for information about the constitution and a few
presidents also. Information about the civil war is also involved and plays a fairly
important role in the movie. There are a lot of flash backs and very interesting facts
about money and it’s value long ago. Students and maybe even teachers will learn
about important historic landmarks and why they are so important. It’s a very good
source and will keep anyone’s attention throughout the movie making it easier to learn
that certain history.

The movie “The untold Truth of slave“ deals with how slave where treated back during the slave period. The movie informs people about how the slaves where beat, shot at, ran away ,and got whipped. The movie also tells about what the slaves wrote in a book after the slave day.
I really liked this movie a lot because it told me a lot about slavery and how the slave dealt with slavery. The movie also told me about the difficult living condition for slaves. I think this movie is a great movie and should five star because it was a great movie.

This movie can really help a lot of people learn about the importance on how slaves dealt with the fact that they are in slaver y. A lot of the student at our school can really benefit off of the knowledge of knowing about slavery. It could be taught in history 9,10,11,12 which is very important.
